Decided to order this because of price and free shipping. Figured we could just return it. Was expecting a very "cheep" looking faucet but NOT AT ALL very nice and so Happy with price and quality. Hope this helps someone else out. I know I always read the reviews. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful This review is from: Hardware House 12-2269 2-Handle Lavatory Faucet, Oil Rubbed Bronze (Tools & Home Improvement) I ordered 2 of these and they match the oiled bronze I have in that bathroom perfectly-they are true to color in the image. My only complaint is with the handles. They feel loose and kind of rock a bit and you have to turn them on nearly all the way to get more than a trickle of water flow. I tried tightening the handles, but it didn't work. They don't seem to actually BE loose, they just wiggle around a lot. Installation was easy and as expected and for the price these were a steal. The faucets themselves feel sturdy and don't leak. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Hardware House 12-2269 2-Handle Lavatory Faucet, Oil Rubbed Bronze (Tools & Home Improvement) I bought these to complete a bathroom renovation for a house that we're selling, and I am pleased with them. The instructions were generic, but installing a faucet isn't hard. Take a picture with your smartphone along the way, and you'll have no problem putting all the pieces back together.Having an oil-rubbed bronze faucet will require different maintenance. They suggest using mild soap and water and a soft cloth. DO NOT use harsh cleaners or abrasives on these. If you're putting these in a kid's bathroom, or have a housekeeper, you'll want to make sure they know how to take care of them. And hide the abrasive cleaners! I would suggest getting the basin wrench to help remove the nuts that hold the faucet to the sink... Read more |
